Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers a nice view of the river from the rooms, but serious maintenance issues and an unpleasant smell of old smoke detracted from the stay. On the positive side, the hotel allows for storing groceries, which can be convenient during the stay.
Our stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. The location was pleasant, close to the downtown area and the Yukon River, making it convenient for exploring the town. However, the neighborhood was a bit rowdy due to the nearby bar attracting loud and sometimes bothersome individuals. The rooms provided some challenges as we had to wait for staff assistance with the groceries and accessibility was limited, especially after a long day of driving, but they were ultimately cozy and welcoming.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of ups and downs. The rooms were undergoing redecoration and had a strong smell of smoke and urine, making my experience quite uncomfortable. There was no hot water available during my stay on the west side of the building, and the lack of a fan, despite not being summer yet, made the room extremely hot. On the bright side, the service was friendly and helpful, although I had issues with being charged manually for the room upon booking. The location was convenient for exploring the downtown area near the river, despite some dodgy characters in the vicinity, and the private secure parking for my bike was a bonus. The dining experience had its flaws with slow service, but I did enjoy the food when it arrived. Overall, a stay with mixed feelings.
The hotel offers clean rooms with basic amenities, but some are a little run down. The uninsulated walls made it easy to hear noises from neighboring rooms. The lack of a refrigerator, phone, or remote upon check-in was inconvenient. On the bright side, the room was clean and provided all the basics needed for a comfortable stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although mostly good and comfortable with useful amenities like a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee pot, were not as clean as I would have liked. On the bright side, they were spacious and warm. The service varied from being kind and accommodating to rude and dismissive. The location, near the city center and right by the river, was convenient, but the neighborhood could be better. The dining, although the food was great, had some delayed service issues. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
Despite some cleanliness issues with the duvet cover and dust in the room, the hotel offers a nice view of the river. The lack of knowledge about local attractions affected the service quality. The location is convenient, nestled in the heart of downtown near the Yukon River. The dining experience was subpar, with limited options for breakfast.
